August for waders and seabirds

Lockdown has proved challenging but things should pick up on the rarity front now that things are eased and August is with us. Passerine migrants have been noticeable, particularly on Skokholm - presumably British birds moving out of the Country, the same phenomenon as witnessed at South coast sites such as Beachy Head. August is a prime time for Waders and Seabirds and Dave Astins has kicked things off with a magnificent Caspian Tern at The Gann. The wandering Irish bird it seems.
